There are two main types of doppelgangers in Mo Yan’s novels. The first is the use his own personal experiences early works, where he takes on persona character and portrays him. second when Yan initiative to explore techniques structure novels chooses metafictional narrative technique, entering directly under real name “Mo Yan”, exposing fiction confusing with fake. have a sequential relationship time progressive technique.
